part i.
Character name: Jay Nagai
Fandom: Original Character
Species (vampire, werewolf, what have you): Naga
Character powers: He can turn into a king cobra. This can be a complete transformation or he can grow any part of a cobra, for example, just turn his legs into a tail or teeth into fangs. Whatever aspect he takes of his human or cobra form, he can hold as long as he’s conscious. In some aspects, he could be considered a cobra who takes human form, since if he’s rendered unconscious or killed he will become entirely a cobra.

Bite - As a cobra, if he grows the proper venom sacs, his bite will be venomous and is strong enough to kill if he delivers enough venom. However, a typical bite will not be strong enough to kill. Symptoms of his bite include drowsiness, pain and blurred vision. If bitten, a victim should seek medical care immediately, as antivenoms are highly effective in treating his bite.

Unhinging jaw - Even in human form, Jay eats by unhinging his jaw and swallowing prey whole.

Slow metabolism - While he does have to eat with more frequency than a king cobra, which can go months between meals, due to his higher level of physical and mental activity, Jay only has to eat somewhere between once a week and once a day depending on his activity levels and the size of his meal.

part ii.
1.) Is it acceptable for your character to be mind-controlled or persuaded? How susceptible are they to mind control, hypnotism, or suggestion? Yes, though I'd prefer it if the other player would contact me and discuss what they plan to do first. He has no mental defenses against such powers, so extremely susceptible.
2.) Is it acceptable for your character to have their mind read? Does this include traumatic memories? What is their mind like (disturbing, orderly, joyful, surprisingly empty, etc.)? If the character has psychic walls or preventative measures against psychic interference, please explain. Yes, their mind can be read at the other player's discretion. His mind is orderly and analytical, except when it comes to birds. When it comes to birds, his mind becomes frantic and somewhat illogical.
3.) Are thoughts mentioned in narration acceptable for a telepath to pick up? Yes, any thoughts I put in narration are fair game to a telepath.
4.) What about emotions, in the case of an empath? What sort of general emotional reading would such a character receive from yours? Yes, any emotions could be picked up, though he typically doesn't tend to feel overly emotional, except, again, when it comes to birds. This will vary based on the situation, of course. When it comes to subjects like engineering, happiness and excitement will probably spike, etc. General emotions will probably be discernible from the narration, and any discrepancy between behavior and emotion will be noted there.
5.) Are there any aspects of your character's mind, emotions, or memories you would like to be picked up, mentioned, or used in character? Conversely, is there anything that should not be noticed, or at least never mentioned? Anything's equally fair game, though if the other player wants to pick up on something big, his fear of birds and his brother being eaten by a garuda (bird person) would probably work. Also, they could pick up on the fact that he's a naga.

part iii.
1.) Physically speaking, what stands out about your character? Imposing size? Physical scarring? Tattoos? In human form, just the fact that he's fairly short and slender. If he turns partially or completely into a snake, there's the whole having snake parts/being a huge cobra thing.
2.) Is your character immune to any of the following: poisons, chemical agents, telekinetic influence, radiation, or types of illnesses? He is resistant to cobra venom, but that's it.
3.) Is your character physiologically different from a human in any way? This can include their blood, skin, hair, et cetera being made up of something unusual or simply differing in construction and durability. His digestive system functions a bit more like a snake's than a humans and his jaw can unhinge. And everything goes snakey when he's a snake. His DNA contains the genetic information to turn into a cobra, so probably a bit different.
4.) Are you amenable to having your character be harmed in any way? How far are you comfortable with injury to you character going? Does this include being fed on by vampires, willingly or unwillingly? I'm fine with injury and feeding, whether it be willing or unwilling. Death is not permitted, and message me if your character will be inflicting any injuries that would take more than a month to get to the point where he can function normally. I'll probably say yes, but that way I can make sure it doesn't interfere with any upcoming plots.
5.) Is it acceptable for other characters with abilities of shapeshifting or disguise to imitate your character? Does this include ability mimicry? Yes.

part iv.
1.) Can your character's presence or aura be noticed by other characters, and how would it look/feel to them? How would it manifest to a character with no supernatural abilities, if at all? If they have such a power, I suppose it would work however their powers normally work in their universe. I'm not really sure how this works, but if they need detailed information I'd be glad to discuss it with them.
2.) Can your character be affected by magic spells and curses? Yes.
3.) Can your character be affected by sin and corruption, and be tempted toward expressing their darker urges (of whatever flavor)? Yes.
4. What sort of sins is the character prone toward, and how might they best be tempted, if you are interested in such an event? Wrath toward birds, bird people, and probably candle lighters when he finds out what they are since he'll see them as a threat. This would be best approached by pointing out how much of a threat they are to him.

Also, getting so focused in his pursuit of building better machines that he ignores possible moral implications of what he may be building. This would best be done by giving him vague details of a project and hooking his interest, getting him too deep into the project to want to waste his work by the time he figures out what it's for.

Apathy toward others in danger might also be one he could be pushed toward. This could be done best by giving him the impression that the threat to them is not his problem.
5.) Are you amenable to the character receiving prophetic visions, including as part of a plot? Possibly, as long as the reasons why he's receiving them make sense, though he'd likely think he was just dreaming unless he had reason to believe them.

part v.
1. Is threadjacking allowed? Under what circumstances? Yes, under any circumstances that make sense.
2. Is it acceptable for canonmates that are updated further than yours to inform your character of events yours has not yet experienced? N/A
3. Are there triggering or upsetting topics you would like other characters to avoid mentioning to yours for the sake of continued comfort (racist words, homophobia, self-injury, etc.)? Nope.
4. Are there any additions you would like us to make to this survey? Nope.
